Lyon airport is the nearest major airport and about 80 miles (130km) from St.Nazaire. It takes about 80 minutes in the car. If we can't there is an hourly coach service to Grenoble centre where we can meet you, or there is a regular train service to St.Marcellin.

Heathrow - Lyon (BA) Three flights per day.

There's also a KLM route via Amsterdam from Scotland which a number of people use.

Grenoble airport is 45 minutes away and there are a number of flights during the ski season (December to April) but only two flights a week from Dublin during the summer.

Another option is to fly to Paris Charles de Gaulle (Easyjet from Liverpool, Luton and Newcastle) from where you can get a TGV (High Speed Train) to Valence which takes about 2 hours.

Other airports:

Marseille : there are a number of budget flights to Marseille. From the airport it's a two hour drive.

Avignon : about a 2 hour drive from St.Nazaire.

Geneva : there are several budget flights to Geneva. It's an easy 2 hour drive with motorway nearly all the way.

From Outside Europe

From outside Europe you can fly to Paris Charles de Gaulle and then get the train from the airport to Valence where we meet you. Some people like to spend a few days in Paris on the way home. Alternatively you can fly to Frankfurt or Amsterdam then on to Lyon.
