Ravito Cycle Tours

Ravito Cycle Tours are the more sporty, but not necessarily more serious, version of our highly successful Gastrobiking holidays.  The rides are longer and more challenging but with the same emphasis on keeping it fun and enjoyable, most of the time at least.

Between the Alps and Provence

We offer fixed-centre holidays in a unique location on the edge of the spectacular Vercors National Park. Lying between Provence, the Alpes and the Rhone Valley it offers an incredible variety of terrain and scenery which is ideal for cycling.

There are numerous, traffic free roads and country lanes. On the one hand, you can meander through orchards of walnut and cherry trees from one sleepy village to another, or head for the hills and climb along spectacular cliff-hanging roads to the alpine meadows and jagged peaks of the Vercors.

Training

For those riders seeking preparation breaks in the build up to the Sportive season, we offer a variety of training camps.  If you haven't cycled in the Alps before, our introductory camp will introduce you to climbing techniques, descending skills, clothing and equipment, nutrition etc..  Our advanced camps will build on your skills and include more challenging routes.

Cyclosportives

Ravito has been organising travel and support packages to major cyclosportives for over 10 years. La Marmotte is the flagship event but Le Challenge-Vercors, La Vercors-Drome and La Dromoise cyclosportives are well worth competing in.  Our organsiation and preparation rides will ensure that you arrive at the start line well prepared, stress free and on form to get the most from your ride.

Ravito a la Carte

We also offer a 'Ravito a la Carte' menu so that we can help you design a cycle tour unique to you.  From following the Tour de France, a mini-tour with friends, to a challenging trip across the Alps our experience and expertise will take all the hassle and uncertainties out of you planning.  We can provide the amount of back-up and support you need.
